  Box ElderAcer negundo

  Recommended Planting Range

Box elder is a common tree of sunny wetland margins. It establishes rapidly on bare soil, even heavy, moist, silty-clayey soil. Box elder has a casual look, often leaning. The big winged seeds, while good for wildlife, can look messy, and seedlings can pop up everywhere.
